Ken Gedney - President
Mr. Gedney comes to OptiSky with an extensive aviation background of thirty-one years. His experience includes the purchase and sale of over four hundred aircraft, flight department management, aviation insurance and finance. He holds an ATP – Lear Jet Certificate, Land and Sea, with Helicopter Rating, and a Certificated Flight Instructor, with over 10,000 hours of flight time. Mr. Gedney has held a property and casualty Insurance Solicitors License along with a Series 7 Securities License and a position on the Board of the Plano YMCA, and for the past two years Campaign Chair of their Sustaining Campaign for children with financial difficulty. Bill Alderman
Bill Alderman is a highly skilled underwriter with 38 years of experience focused in the aviation insurance industry. He was the co-founder of the Aviation Insurance Association that is now made up of approximately 600 members. Mr. Alderman was also Vice President and President of the Aviation Office of America for 15 years. He brings relationships such as Lloyds, Swiss Re, Munich Re, W. Brown and Associates, USSIC, and Aerospace Insurance Managers. He was a Naval Aviator flying the carrier based “Skyraider” with over 200 carrier landings. He holds a Commercial pilot license, single and multi-engine rating with a type rating in a Douglas DC-4. In 1998 he received the Aviation Insurance Association: Pinnacle Award for “Leadership and Career Achievements in the aviation insurance industry.” He is a graduate of St. Thomas University. Timothy J. Sudderth
Tim Sudderth joins the OptiSky team bringing thirty plus years of extensive business and aviation background. He recently served as President and CEO of Classic Aviation, Inc. which has been established since 1967 and is currently the oldest flight school at Addison Airport. Mr. Sudderth, is currently Director and one of the co-founders of the Association of Professional Flight Training Schools (APFTS). This is an international, non-profit association, founded for establishing and maintaining a higher level of professional standards for flight schools and to improve the quality of Professional Flight Training. Mr. Sudderth's extensive business experience includes having founded and served as President and CEO of SureQuest Systems, Inc. a leading provider of software and dietary systems to the healthcare industry. He also held executive positions with Kraft Foods, Maryland Cup, and Top Value Enterprises. In 1998 he returned to aviation, a passion he developed at an early age.
